West Hartford Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate, experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to help lead day-to-day nursing operations and support high-quality resident care. In this role, you will assist with planning, organizing, developing, and directing the Nursing Services Department in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies. You will report directly to the Director of Nursing.

Purpose of the Position

The Assistant Director of Nursing Services supports the Director of Nursing by helping oversee the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Services Department. This position helps ensure resident care policies and procedures are carried out consistently and that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

  • 40 hours, Monday through Friday
  • On-call required

Requirements

  • RN nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing, college, or university (BSN preferred)
  • CPR certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility
