West Hartford Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and organized Admissions Assistant to help ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for new residents and their families. This role plays an important part in supporting resident comfort, coordinating admissions, and assisting the interdisciplinary care team.
Position Responsibilities
- Meet and greet new admissions upon arrival
- Ensure rooms are prepared and escort residents to their assigned rooms
- Communicate resident needs to the interdisciplinary care team
- Assess and support resident comfort needs
- Prepare welcome baskets for new residents
- Update resident white boards daily
- Orient residents to their room and available amenities
- Ensure resident names are properly displayed on doors
- Assist with resident room changes as needed
Schedule
- Part-time position
- 20 hours per week
- Flexible weekday hours, Monday through Friday
